Italian Dining

I dined at a great restaurant last evening that should get some recognition for a wonderful meal. I had been to this restaurant many years ago and liked it, but as is often the case, you tend to go to the same restaurants over and over and forget about those from the past. This one should not have been forgotten.

Eccola Italian Restaurant at 1082 Rt. 46 W in Parsippany was definitely a great choice. When we arrived with reservations, the table that was reserved for us was just okay so we asked for better table location. The staff was very accomodating - we waited 10 minutes for a great table and excellent service. The meal was delicious - all four of us made a good choice with three of us ordering from their specials for the night. I would highly recommend this restaurant - check out their menu on their website and hopefully you will get a chance to try this soon.

East Hanover Italian American Carnival

The East Hanover Italian American Club will be having their annual Carnival this year May 3-7. It is a lot of fun. Every year they have rides for all ages from toddlers to young adults. Of course there is a lot of food. In addition to the annual zeppoles, barbeque meat on a stick and pizza this year they will have roasted corn on the cob!!! Sounds delicous. Discount tickets can be purchased in advance at Coccia Real Estate located at 434 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover. So come out and enjoy the festivities - a good time will be had by all. A good time for the entire family.
